August 31, 2011 - Complimentary to various substrates, Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps (FRMW) are engineered to optimize radiation of energy within medium wavelength range. Medium wave IR energy output by these heaters is absorbed by water, inks, paints, and plastics. Supplied in lengths up to 52 in., IR lamps are capable of color temperature of 2100°F and peak wavelength of 2.0 microns. This frequency can be generated with up to 100 W per linear inch.

Increase Line Speeds by 30-100% with New----Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps

HAWTHORNE, NEW JERSEY---The new, Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps (FRMW) are engineered to radiate more energy within the medium wavelength range. Line speeds typically improve by 30-100% in the field. Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps are a great match for many substrates, particularly thin films and plastics. Medium wave infrared energy is easily and quickly absorbed by water, inks, paints and many plastics. These heaters have construction like shortwave T3 lamps and are fast responding.

The infrared lamps are capable of a color temperature of 2100ºF (1150ºC) and a peak wavelength of 2.0 microns. This frequency can be generated with up to 100 watts per linear inch. The FRMW is a special product that fills a gap in the marketplace for higher wattages at medium wavelengths.

Fast Response Medium Wave Lamps can be supplied in all lengths up to 52" (1320mm). The benefits of Anderson Thermal Devices' new Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps include a smaller footprint, better uniformity of heat and energy savings up to 50% typical.

Anderson Thermal Devices has designed process heating solutions since 1995. In addition to custom offerings, they provide direct replacement lamps for all major manufacturers. For more information, call the Infrared Hotline 800-720-5256.
