July 16, 2002 - Ergonomic, pistol-styled handgrip reduces wrist fatigue and provides wheel control in rough terrain or windy conditions. Design includes reduced-wear, clamp-lock mechanism for telescoping aluminum handle that permits handle to extend and retract in same relative position. Handle design is available on mechanical measuring wheels 10 in. or larger in diameter, which includes Series 31, 45, 60, and 79.

Meter-Man Introduces Improved Handle Design
Meter-Man introduces a new ergonomic, pistol-styled handgrip to reduce wrist fatigue and improve wheel control on all large size measuring wheels. This design change includes a simplified, and more durable, clamp-lock mechanism for the telescoping aluminum handle.
In response to many customer requests, Meter-Man wheels now include a comfortable pistol grip, which allows the user to maintain a more natural wrist position, resulting in significantly less forearm stress when used for extended periods, and better control when used in rough terrain or windy conditions.
In addition, the redesigned telescoping aluminum handle also incorporates a new simplified, reduced-wear, clamp-lock mechanism that permits the handle to extend and retract in the same relative position consistently for easy point and push maneuverability.
These improvements can be found on all Meter-Man mechanical measuring wheels 10 inches or larger in diameter. Models include the 10" Series 31, the 14.3" Series 45, the 19" Series 60, and the 25" Series 79. All Meter-Man measuring wheels are backed by a Full Lifetime Warranty.
