September 25, 2007 - Built for all brands of trucks, Strongback(TM) all-aluminum flatbed features structural T6 extruded C channel side rails, 1/8 in. diamond plate decking, and 4 in. styled aluminum headboard with fast-fill fuel filler. Other elements include 4 in. long sills and cross members on 12 in. centers as well as 3 in. channel-framed rear tail apron with LED lighting. Rope hooks every 24 in. facilitate tie-down, and structural design accommodates customization with various available options.

Highway Products Strongback(TM) Flatbed


Highway Products Inc. of White City, Oregon introduces its latest model of The Strongback(TM) Flatbed. This Marine Grade All-Aluminum flatbed allows your truck to carry heavier payloads and adds fuel efficiency. Most of the features you usually pay extra for are standard equipment on Highway Products "Strongback" model flatbeds which are easily customized with their simple structural design. Listed standard features of these truck flatbeds are (structural T6 extruded "C" channel side rails, 1/8" diamond plate decking); 4" long sills and cross members on 12" centers, 4" styled aluminum headboard with fast-fill fuel filler; 3" channel - framed rear tail apron; LED lighting placed in rear apron for extra visibility and looks; rope hooks every 24 inches for easy tie-down. Optional features include 30,000 lbs combo fifth wheel/gooseneck ball hitch; tapered rear corners; directional light boxes on headboard; load lights; concealed hinged cover for hitch area; Class 5 receiver hitch; 7-pin trailer plug; electric brake controller; full-length lighted running boards; removable side rails; removable back rails; 2x4 stake pockets; mud flaps; Air-Ride suspension systems; lumber racks; fuel tanks; winches; LED lights; on-deck and underbody tool boxes; and brush fire truck units. Highway Products builds these flatbeds for all brands of trucks and claims the resale value of your truck will not only be higher but your truck will also sell faster when it's time for a new one.
