The updated Model 40B Numbering & Lettering Press offers a great value for stamping tags, data plates, keys or many other flat components. By simply turning the dial to the desired character and pulling the handle, a clear crisp character can be easily stamped. With a little practice, tags can be quickly stamped. The origin of the Model 40B can be traced to the 1940's. Continual updates through the years have kept the Model 40B as a leader in its class. Recent improvements include a new table insert clamp, table stop clamp, table release lever mechanism and an adjustable dial tension block assembly. These improvements increase the ease of use for the operator.
The Model 40B produces straight, legible impressions. Since it is a manual machine, it can be used anywhere. It weighs 40 pounds and is easily portable. In us by all types of industries, it requires minimal maintenance. Mount the part under the table clamp. Move the table to the starting position and start the stamping operation. We offer custom nests (for irregular shaped tags) and strip holders (for rectangular tags) or special key fixtures as well as a new Universal Key Nest.
