Bourque Logistics Introduces RAILPort(TM)
Rail shippers can now build custom reports using BL's RAILPort(TM) Report Writer.
THE WOODLANDS, -- Bourque Logistics (BL), the leader in logistics software for industrial shippers, introduces RAILPort(TM), a new web-based report writing tool that allows customers to create and distribute custom reports. RAILPort(TM) utilizes the most up-to-date data pulled from the Bourque Logistics database, so users receive the most current information.
RAILPort(TM) is extremely user-friendly, allowing users to quickly build reports from pre-written queries that span loading and shipment status, railcar profile and compliance, and freight cost and payment templates across all BL software modules.
Using RAILPort(TM), you can select and filter data fields, re-size and sort columns and their order, and set breaks and totals. Users can then define a distribution schedule to others via email PDF, Excel, or "Live-Link" connects that re-query on demand. RAILPort(TM) also provides embedded RAILChannel® training videos so users can learn the functions quickly.
This convenient application also provides users with the ease of creating reports that will allow a non-transportation user to enter search criteria such as origin, destination, commodity, car number and train ID to display all pertinent rates, car trace or unit train information in a user-friendly format.
