Handling up to 61 W thermal loads at 25°C, 764H-061 High Power Laser Diode Mount features internal thermoelectric coolers that enable fine wavelength tuning and optimal power output stabilization. Thermistor sensor is embedded into top plate for feedback loop temperature control and device also includes Model 3700 temperature controller. Unit has laser diodes, attached to top copper plate with various hole patterns for installation and mounting, as well as power supply for fan.

Newport's New High Power Laser Diode Mounts (61W)
Irvine, CA - Newport Corporation, a worldwide leader in laser and photonic solutions that Make, Manage, and Measure Light®, announces the 764H-061 High Power Laser Diode Mount. The new model can handle up to 61-watt thermal loads at 25-degrees C (ambient temperature) with its air cooling system. The internal series of thermoelectric coolers (TECs) enables fine wavelength tuning and excellent power output stabilization. Newport's 764H-061 extends the recently introduced 764H product series, which currently features a 110-watt laser diode mount. For added convenience, the high power laser diode mount family can accommodate both free-space and fiber-coupled diode laser bars.
The 764H-061 is optimized with Newport's Model 3700 high power temperature controller to provide exceptional and rapid settling time, while maintaining the required temperature regulation. The copper mounting plate supports most laser diode family products from the former Spectra Physics division (Tucson, AZ), which is now part of Oclaro (San Jose, CA).
The laser diodes are attached to a top copper plate which is configured with a variety of hole patterns for easy integration and/or mounting. Custom or other laser diode hole patterns can also be easily created. A thermistor sensor is embedded into the top plate for feedback loop temperature control. Electrical connections to a temperature controller are provided via the pigtailed cable which is attached to the mount. The cable is directly compatible with temperature controller Models 3150 (obsolete) and 3700. Using cable Model 300-04, the laser diode mount is also compatible with Newport's Model 350B temperature controller. Other mount features include a versatile hardware kit (post and post holders) for table top experiments and a power supply (included) for the fan.
