John Wright Company Introduces 6-Inch Lag Pintle and Trim Plate

Press release date: November 27, 2013

Wrightsville, PA – John Wright's new 6-Inch Lag Pintle (Item:88-468) and Trim Plate (Item: 88-445) add to its extensive line of traditional shutter hardware.  The Lag Pintle installs into wood or masonry to provide a secure mounting location for numerous John Wright shutter hinges.  Its 6-inch length provides flexible mounting options and widely adjustable offset.  For long life, the 6-Inch Lag Pintle is solid steel and finished with John Wright’s proprietary, multi-step WeatherWright™ coating system.

The Trim Plate works with the new Lag Pintle to cover the installation hole and provide a classic, clean, and upscale look.  John Wright’s Trim Plate is heavy cast iron for a three-dimensional look that lesser stamped steel versions can never achieve.

The Lag Pintle and Trim Plate are available separately or together as a value pack that also includes a masonry anchor to allow convenient mounting in nearly any building material.  The 6-Inch Lag Pintle Value Pack saves time and money and works fluently with John Wright's many existing shutter and window accessories to enhance the historic look and feel of nearly any home.
