Laboratory Mixing System for In-Line Multi-Component Process Development


A new in-line multi-component laboratory pilot system for blending multiple streams of fluids and manufacturing homogeneous emulsions, dispersions, and blends is being introduced by Bematek Systems, Inc. of Salem, Massachusetts.

Bematek's Laboratory Pilot Mixing System for in-line multi-component process development is suitable for blending multiple streams of fluids into homo-geneous emulsions, dispersions, and blends. Fully scalable, these wet-mix process systems feature a patented rotor-stator mixing technology which exposes 100% of the mixed product to the same shear action without bypass.

Capable of producing dispersions down to 1 micron, with ±1% repeatability, depending upon the ingredients and application, Bematek's Laboratory Pilot Mixing System is FDA, USDA and 3A compliant. Developed for food and pharma- ceutical applications requiring precise control and repeatability, these in-line systems can mix and blend viscous materials from 1.0 CPS and up.
