October 18, 2012 - Mounted on microscopes and other optical systems, Model RL16Q and Model RL28Q with Quadrant Driver have 4 quadrant zones that may be individually turned on and off to eliminate shadow for smooth, even illumination or create and control shadows to define surface details. Light from LEDs in 4 quadrants, each with 8-step variable intensity from 0–100%, is refracted through optical system to provide 85,000 lux at working distance of 3 in. External control is via serial interface.

Tigard, OR – Orled is proud to announce the debut of their new line of highintensity ring lights, the Model RL16Q and Model RL28Q with Quadrant Driver. Designed to be mounted on a wide variety of microscopes and other optical systems, they are suitable for use in forensics, dental laboratories, medical and industrial manufacturing. The ring light with external control via serial interface is ideal for observing circuit boards, jewelry, electronic and highly reflective specimens.

The light from high-output LEDS in 4 quadrants each with 8 step variable intensity from 0-100% is refracted through an innovative optical system to provide 85,000 lx at a working distance of 3 inches. The 4 quadrant zones can be individually turned on and off allowing you to eliminate shadow for smooth, even illumination or create and control shadows to define surface details

The RL16Q and RL28Q with Quadrant Driver comply with CE standards for European Community use.

Single unit pricing is as follows: RL16Q with Quadrant Driver is $601. RL28Q with Quadrant Driver is $699. Additional price breaks are available.
