September 25, 2012 - Featuring constant-current design, Model T-30 provides microscope-quality light output with no color shift when dimming. Unit includes 40 high-bright LED lights set in precision-aligned array, and integrated controller to adjust brightness from 10–100%. Measuring 1.09 in. thick x 4.08 in. OD x 5.3 in. L, illuminator offers 360 shadow-free illumination with optimal working distances from 3–6 in. Three-point, soft-tipped mount fits lenses from 1.25–2.6 in. in diameter.

A new, low-cost LED ring illuminator from Titan Tool Supply, Inc., Buffalo, New York, features a constant-current design to provide powerful, microscope-quality light output with no color shift when dimming. A typical incandescent bulb has a life of 200 hours; the new Titan Tool Model T-30 LED illuminator has a life of approximately 10,000 hours. Priced at $265.00, the T-30 features 40 high-bright LED lights set in a CAD-design, precision-aligned array and includes an integrated controller to adjust brightness from 10% to 100%

A universal power source connector with a built-in transformer enables worldwide operation from 100-240VAC, 50-60Hz, Titan Tool states.

Additional features include:
• 360 shadow-free illumination
• 3-point, soft-tipped, secure mount to fit lenses from 1.25” to 2.6” (32mm to 66mm) in diameter
• 6500 K spectrum (approx.)
• Silent, no-vibration operation
• Measures 1.09” thick x 4.08” O.D. x 5.3” long (28mm x 104mm x 135mm) with optimal working distances from 3” to 6” (76mm to 152mm)
• Machined aluminum and molded plastic closure for rugged durability
