Doran Introduces a New LED Lighting Kit for Stop Arms with Multiple Flashing Capabilities for the School Bus Market
Cincinnati, OH - Doran Manufacturing, LLC is proud to announce the availability of their new combination LED light kit for Stop Arms (model #9147). This new lighting kit provides the added flexibility to easily wire the Stop Arm lights on a school bus with a 12-volt power source to provide either strobing/alternating flashes or steady-state/alternating flashes from the LED lights included in the kit.
"We intentionally designed this lighting kit to increase the flexibility of applications, simplify installation and reduce the associated labor costs for school bus fleets and school districts," says Debbi Gerdes, Transportation Sales Representative for Doran. "The new #9147 lighting kit eliminates the need to connect with the flasher wiring to provide alternating lights on the Stop Arm. In addition, it also has the flexibility to be used with both multiplex and traditional bus wiring configurations."
This LED light kit upgrade is designed to replace 12-volt DC incandescent lights on air, vacuum and electrical octagon Stop-Arms. All of the flashing technology and circuitry is contained in the primary ultra-bright LED lamp (which controls the secondary lamp through a 3-pin connector) with the six-foot pigtail wire attached and eliminates the need to install a Stop-Arm strobe pack.
