Tested to ANSI FL1 flashlight standards, product measures 9 x 1.5 in., weighs 15.5 oz with batteries, produces 618 lm, and is IPX-4 water resistant.

Dorcy Sets New Standard for their Brightest Flashlight Metal Gear XLM produces 618 Lumens, Shines 1100 Feet


Columbus, OH - Dorcy (http://www.dorcydirect.com), a leading provider of portable lighting products for over 50 years, has introduced the Dorcy Metal Gear XLM (extreme lumen) LED aluminum flashlight. Producing 618 lumens from a single LED chip, the new high performance flashlight provides a beam distance of up to 1100 ft. and sets a whole new standard for the best flashlight performance.

Operating on six AA alkaline batteries that drive a Cree XM-L LED module the new LED flashlight will run for well over five hours on its high setting and more than 25 hours on low. The LED aluminum flashlight is machined from aerospace grade anodized material. It features Dorcy's TrueSpot® Optimized Reflector System and a side-mounted push button switch with high and low setting. The 41-0435 is Dorcy's brightest flashlight; it has been tested to the new ANSI FL1 flashlight standards and is IPX-4 water resistant. The new LED aluminum flashlight measures 9 inches by 1.5 inches and weighs in at 9.9 ounces (15.5 ounces with batteries).
