MIT200 Series insulation and continuity testers offer live circuit protection, fit easily into pocket, and are tough enough to withstand demanding industrial applications. MIT220 model offers insulation testing at 250 and 500 V, while MIT230 allows testing at 250, 500, and 1,000 V. Both feature 1,000 MW insulation testing at all supported voltages, 200 mA continuity test current and fast-response continuity buzzer with a 5W threshold. Continuity tests are fully automatic.

Megger's Compact New Testers are Tough Enough for Industry
Small enough to fit easily into a pocket, yet tough enough to withstand the demanding physical and electrical conditions often found in industrial applications, Megger's latest MIT200 insulation and continuity testers are not only robust, they also offer the highest levels of safety combined with exceptional ease of use.
In addition, they have a CAT III 600V rating in line with IEC 61010-1, and they are available in versions that offer insulation testing at 1,000 V, which is a frequent requirement when working on industrial equipment and installations.
Despite their compact construction, which makes them particularly convenient to carry around, MIT200 testers incorporate a wide range of safety features, including live circuit protection. If an MIT200 is accidentally connected to a live circuit, an audible warning is immediately given, even if the instrument's internal fuse has failed. The instrument's display shows the voltage present in the live circuit, and testing is inhibited.
Automatic warning of fuse failure is also provided, which eliminates the need for time consuming manual fuse checking.
As an aid to convenient and straightforward operation, MIT200 testers incorporate backlit LCDs with a large analogue-style arc to provide a rapid indication of results, together with a digital readout to give accurate numerical data for inclusion in reports and test certificates. After a test, results are displayed until the next test is initiated, eliminating the need for a hold button.
Instruments in the MIT200 range are available in two versions. The MIT220 offers insulation testing at 250V and 500V, while the MIT230 allows testing at 250V, 500V and 1000V.
Both models feature 1000 MW insulation testing at all supported voltages, 200mA continuity test current and a fast-response continuity buzzer with a 5 W threshold. Continuity tests are fully automatic, freeing both hands and removing the need to press the TEST button.
MIT200 instruments are supplied, as standard, complete with test certificates and test leads. The leads feature right-angled connectors to prevent tangling and reduce stress in the cable. MIT230 testers and accessories are supplied in a rigid carrying case.
