November 5, 2012 - Featuring lattice design, S50CLM and S50SCLP Series allow for large axial, radial, and angular misalignments while transmitting high torque loads with zero backlash. Units are available with bores from .125–1.250 in., max angular offset of 7°, and max torque from 5–300 lbf-in. Available in 35 models, couplings have 6061 aluminum hubs, 420 stainless steel or polyamide resin discs, and end flanges made of 416 stainless steel.

(New Hyde Park, NY) -- A new series of inch couplings from Sterling Instrument (SI), an ISO 9001:2000+AS9100C Registered Manufacturer, feature unique lattice design which allows for very large axial, radial, and angular misalignments while transmitting high torque loads with zero backlash. The 35 couplings identified as the S50CLM-... and S50SCLP... Series feature a maximum angular offset of 7°. Their bores range from .125” to 1.250”. Other bores are available on special order. Their maximum torque ranges from 5 lbf in. to 300 lbf in. The hubs are made of 6061 aluminum and the discs of 420 stainless steel or polyamide resin. The end flanges are made of 416 stainless steel. A complete series of 24 metric lattice couplings with similar specs are also available from stock.
