Heat Pumps meet home energy efficiency standards.

October 27, 2009 - Compatible with MSY/Z GE single-zone systems, MXZ multizone system heat pumps, part of split-ductless M-Series STAR LINEUP, offer efficiencies of up to 18 SEER. Models include 5 systems with rated BTU/hr capacities from 20,000-48,000 and also include ENERGY STAR® rated device. They feature INVERTER-driven compressor and are available in ductless and ducted indoor versions. Users can connect 2-8 indoor devices to single outdoor unit.

The new MXZ multi-zone lineup includes ENERGY STAR® systems that can help homeowners earn residential tax credits. The M-Series systems are unique to the industry in that they provide better efficiencies while enhancing performance. The new STAR LINEUP positions contractors to take advantage of green opportunities and meet the needs of end users and features some of the highest SEER and HSPF ratings Mitsubishi Electric has ever offered. This improved performance helps homeowners save more than 40 percent on energy usage compared to standard window units.
