The new ShockWatch DropSpot (http://www.packnetltd.com/dropspot.html) is unique in that it is not activated until the adhesive backing is removed and the indicator is then applied to the product or shipping container. These sensors can easily be shipped worldwide to customers without accidental activation of the sensor which has sometimes been a problem in the past. Each sensor has a unique serial number so it may be documented on the bill of lading for tracking as well. These indicators are targeted for larger, heavier packages and crates and typically cost less than $3 each. Three different G-level sensitivity options are available.
