Maxa Beam Searchlight can be powered by 3.5 lb Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery that enables 2+ hr operation, eliminating need to carry extra battery packs or frequent recharging. Battery, optimized with regards to recharge time and total life cycles, also has minimal self discharge rate. Fielded by U.S. Military forces as well as foreign military, security, and law enforcement, searchlight is suited for perimeter surveillance, force protection, and checkpoint security.

Weighing in at only 3.5 lbs., the new LiFePO4 battery can power the searchlight for over two hours and offers great value with a faster recharge time, lower self discharge rate, and more than five times the total life cycles that the company's older Lithium-Ion batteries.
