Constructed with ABS-plastic housing, HSM50 Series is suitable for measuring moisture level of soil or similar materials. Digital, microprocessor-based unit displays data on 1.1 x 0.75 in. LCD with 0.1% resolution. Operating on 4 AAA batteries, instrument features data hold function, built-in low battery indicator, and sampling time of approximately 0.8 seconds. Unit is suited for landscapers, soil scientists, nursery managers, and turf managers.
