April 23, 2014 - By producing massive, cylindrical column of air that flows down to floor and outward in all directions, Kelley EntreMatic WAVE Series Fans create horizontal floor jet that consistently circulates air in large spaces. Even room temperature created by fans helps preserve product integrity, avoid potential spoilage, and increase employee comfort as well as reduce moisture in air, keeping floors dry and safe. In colder months, fans can be run in reverse to circulate hot air trapped at ceiling level.

Curlin Brings New Kelley EntreMatic HVLS Fans to Florida Warehouses

Press release date: April 17, 2014

Kelley EntreMatic has improved their High Velocity Low Speed Fans with the new Wave series, and Curlin is helping Florida customers integrate them into their warehouse and dock systems.  These new fans create better airflow while using less energy. Improved controls are also making the fans easier to operate and maintain.

The Kelley EntreMatic WAVE produces a massive, cylindrical column of air that flows down to the floor and outward in all directions, creating a horizontal floor jet that consistently circulates air in large spaces. This “horizontal floor jet” pushes air a greater distance before it is pulled back vertically toward the blades. The greater the down flow, the greater the air circulation and resulting benefits. In the colder months, fans can be run in reverse to circulate the hot air trapped at ceiling level, known as “destratification”.

Kelley EntreMatic WAVE fans don’t just move air, they circulate it efficiently and create a more even room temperature. The even temperature helps preserve product integrity, avoids potential spoilage and increases employee comfort. The even coverage provided by the WAVE fan also helps reduce moisture in the air, keeping floors drier and safer for your employees.

The state of the art iFAN system makes it possible for warehouse and factory managers to take full advantage of centralized fan controls, a five blade profile that increases air flow while reducing energy consumption, and a drag-reducing air foil shape that increases circulation and with it worker comfort.

Kelley EntreMatic is known for transforming the HVLS business by introducing effective networked controls, but the “iFAN takes things to the next level”, stated Curlin’s VP Jeremy Chapman”.

The iFAN’s specialized graphics can replicate each user’s warehouse environment. This helps operators clearly identify the exact location of their fans inside the facility. iFAN’s graphics also enhance each fan’s visual appearance, aiding trouble shooting efforts, clarifying facility layout, and improving group fan control. iFAN is the next generation of fan control.
