A full line of standard and custom extruded PTFE wear strips and conveyor guides that come in a wide range of configurations is being introduced by SLIDEWAYS, Inc. of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

SLIDEWAYS PTFE Wear Strips and Guides feature U-Channel, Guide Rail, J-Leg, Full Round, Half Round, Snap-On and Chain Guide profiles supplied in standard 5 and 10 ft. lengths and be custom cut or machined, if required. Providing superior fire, heat, and chemical resistance, PTFE wear strips and guide rails can be formulated with various percentages of glass to enhance wear properties.

Suitable for a wide range of processing, packaging, and conveying applications, SLIDEWAYS PTFE Wear Strips and Guides are nonflammable, operate over a -350°F to 500°F range, and are chemically inert. Naturally slippery, they reduce stagger and noise, absorb vibration, reduce damage, and are approved for direct food contact. Sizes range up to 1-1/4" W, depending upon profile.
