January 22, 2002 - Village Collection Globes offer pole-mounted, glare-free lighting. Wide range of metal halide, high-pressure sodium or PL compact fluorescent lamps, in various wattages and voltages are available. Globes may be specified in clear or white acrylic, clear textured or white polycarbonate. Fitters, domes, finials and lens holder rings are ASTM 356.2 virgin ingot aluminum cast in permanent molds. All fasteners are stainless steel for corrosion resistance.

sites, parks, gardens, piers, themed venues and the like.
Product Description: Village Collection Globes embody a classic
spherical design with unmatched pole, fitter, dome and finial options. In any mounting combination, each unit offers a visually compelling design aesthetic, while providing a broad, evenly distributed pattern of glare-free illumination. A wide range of metal halide, high-pressure sodium or PL compact fluorescent lamps, in various wattages and voltages, provide exceptional energy efficiency with long lamp life. The decorative slip-fitter hubs that mount to the tops of
poles directly below the globes, allow Viiiage Collection Globes to be comparable with a range of outdoor environments. The standard globe is unobstructed for maximum versatility and for maximum spacing between fixtures; a decorative finial and dome may also be specified or selected. Other options include a 90° or 180° light shield, Type V Optilouver or curved heat reflectors, and Borosilicate glass refractor lenses.
Construction & Finishes: Village Collection Globes may be specified in clear or white acrylic, clear textured or white polycarbonate. Fitters, domes and finials and lens holder rings are ASTM 356.2 virgin ingot aluminum, cast in permanent molds for maximum strength and durability. All fasteners are
stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The cast aluminum parts and Beacon Products mounting poles have a thermoset polyester powder-coat finish, applied over a sandblasted surface subjected to an eight-stage pre-treatment process for maximum corrosion resistance. Standard finish options include black, white, bronze, green, gray and Verona; custom colors may also be
specified. Village Collection Globes are ETL and CSA listed for wet location use.
