January 13, 2014 - Leveraging existing electrical wiring, TL-PA8010 AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter plugs into any available power outlet to deliver wireless network connectivity with up to 1,000 Mbps throughput. Device supports HomePlug AV2 standard and is interoperable with Powerline Adapters at various connection speeds, including 200, 500, 600, and 900 Mbps. Along with supports for IGMP managed multicast IP transmission, features include 128-bit AES encryption, 300 m range, and built-in QoS.

TP-LINK Launches AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter at CES 2014


At up to 1000Mbps, the TL-PA8010 provides the fastest Powerline standard available to-date

LAS VEGAS -- TP-LINK, a global provider of networking products, today announced the TL-PA8010 AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter, its fastest Powerline adapter to date with throughput up to one gigabit.

Featuring the latest HomePlug AV2 standard, the device provides real gigabit throughput over a home or office's existing electrical wiring. Users can enjoy robust, high speed wired networking throughout their home or office for lag-free HD video streaming and online gaming.

The TL-PA8010 is interoperable with Powerline Adapters at various connection speeds, including 200, 500, 600 and 900Mbps, and is incredibly simple to set up. Users can get their networks up and running in a flash, simply by plugging the Powerline Adapters into available power outlets, eliminating the need for time-consuming and expensive renovations previously required to establish a whole-home wired Ethernet network.

TP-LINK's TL-PA8010 AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter will be shown from January 7-10, 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center - Booth No. 36206. South Hall 4, Upper Level. The product will be available in the second quarter of 2014.
