ChefTec Waste Tracking Module Makes Tracking Waste Easy

BOULDER, Colo. -- The tracking of foodservice waste in a foodservice operation has never been so easy using the new ChefTec Waste Tracking Module (WTM) from Culinary Software Services.

The Waste Tracking Module allows for the accurate tracking and analysis of waste in any foodservice operation. The existing automatic ordering capabilities help prevent over-purchasing, a major cause of waste and spoilage. The WTM enhances that capability and provides a way of tracking waste and analyzing exactly why and where waste is occurring. It also provides a way of tracking the cost of the wasted product as well as costs associated with the different waste disposal methods used. Reports provide summary and detailed information on trends related to waste in a foodservice operation.
