May 6, 2002 - Portable Series 985-TA carrier is suitable for handling envelopes, blister cards, pouches, corrugated board, paperboard, and chipboard cartons. Vacuum suction and shuttle feed platform ensure continuous, smooth delivery of up to 150 cpm to product identification system. No-tools changeover, using simple hand-wheel controls, allows for various sized packages. Changeover is accomplished in 1 to 2 minutes, with scales mounted to record all settings.

LAKEWOOD, NEW JERSEY . Dalemark Industries, Inc., a leader in coding and flat product handling systems for Industrial and Consumer Packaging, is pleased to announce the improvement of the Series 985-TA.
This unique, portable, compact carrier is constructed with a Stainless Steel outer frame and is suitable for handling Envelopes, Blister Cards, Pouches, Corrugated Board, Paperboard, and Chipboard Cartons. The Dalemark 985-TA incorporates a unique combination of vacuum suction and shuttle feed platform to insure continuous smooth delivery of up to 150 cpm to the product identification system. A no-tools changeover utilizing simple hand wheel controls allows for various sized packages without costly change parts. In addition to the standard piece counter to verify the production run, a batch counter can be added to ensure only the exact amount of packages are marked for distribution, eliminating costly overruns. Changeover is accomplished with no tools in as little as 1-2 minutes with scales mounted to record all settings.
The Series 985-TA is designed for integration with most commercial identification systems including P/S Label Applicators, P/S Label Printer/Applicators, Ink Jets, Thermal Transfer Printers, Hot Stampers, Laser Coders, etc. Additional capabilities include Bar Code Reading, Project Reject, O.C.R. and similar systems to provide customers with a complete off-line flat product identification system.
