CHICAGO, IL, - - November 30, 2003 - - FIBER CONNECTOR EXTRACTION TOOL (CRTSC-1) To add to Richco's extensive line of fiber optic components, Richco is pleased to announce the launch of the CRTSC-1. The tool is designed for the safe and easy removal of SC simplex connectors in areas of densely populated connections. It is also ideal for use where repetitive connector removal is performed such as in a testing environment.
The tool head firmly grips onto the SC connector sleeve when its housing is pushed forward via the thumb lever. The tool can then be pulled and the connector safely removed. A channel on its underside avoids crushing or linking of the fiber. The tool is ergonomically designed for ease of use with one hand and manufactured in a wear resistant Polycarbonate material giving the tool a long life
