Taipei, Taiwan — Vecow Co., Ltd., a front-runner in the application fields of embedded system, image processing, and intelligent automation, today launches EN50155-certified RCS-2000 series, based on Intel® Quad-Core Atom™ E3845 (Bay Trail-I Premium) processor platform, with the multiple PCI/PCIe slot expandability allows flexible integration of variety of add-on cards and isolated connectivity perfectly designed for rugged Niche markets requires surge protection for power.

RCS-2000 series, as an addition of the RCS family, with the capability up to 8GB memory from single channel DDR3L, moreover, offering abundant connectivity with host/device, including one DVI-D, one VGA, two GbE LANs, two RS-232, two RS-232/422/485, two isolated RS-232/422/485, two isolated DIO, two USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one internally accessible 2.5” SATA 3Gp/s SSD/HDD tray, one optional mSATA support via an internal mini-PCIe slot, 3G/4G/GPS/GPRS/WiFi/ Bluetooth support and Remote Power switch design.

The first system-on-chip (SoC) for intelligent systems, Intel® Atom™ E3845 pushes computing, graphical and thermal performances. Utilizing 22nm Silvermont microarchitecture and 3-D Tri-Gate transistors, E3845 shows ultimate energy efficiency / performance ratio. E3845 processors with -40 to +110 oC Tjunction and the thermal design power (TDP) add reliability at industrial grade environment. Integrated error correcting code (ECC) and built-in security engine, E3845 provides superior reliability for 24/7 operation industrial systems.

With the multiple, powerful I/O, unique front wiring design, thumb-screw design and wide temperature at-25°C to +70°C, RCS-2000 series is undoubtedly ideal for Factory Automation (CNC, AOI, Control/Monitor/ Data Gateway, etc.) , IOT (Internet of Things), In-Vehicle (Infotainment, Fleet Management, etc.), Oil, Gas and Water and other Isolated related applications.
