Report Writing Functionality Has Been Upgraded In Pulsar Estimating Software

FORESTDALE, MA (July 22) - The report writing functionality of PULSAR Estimating Software, by Estimating Systems, Inc., has been upgraded to provide clearer, more concise and easier to customize reports upon demand.

According to Allan Cleveland, General Manager of Estimating Systems, "We have incorporated Seagate Crystal Reports, the industry leading report writer, in our PULSAR software. Users can now quickly and easily pull reports that highlight the specific information they need, be it the cost of materials only, the total cost of labor (with or without materials), and/or an hourly labor cost breakout. Reports can also be generated by division, sub-division, or by job site."

The report-writing function in PULSAR provides powerful reporting and query capabilities for both novice and experienced users. Reports can now be generated to select, analyze, summarize and present information about a job in any way deemed necessary.

"Furthermore," adds Cleveland, "the software does not require special programming to do this. Users can modify both form and content of existing reports, as well as create an unlimited number of new, completely customized reporting formats."

Long used by military engineers for estimating construction, remodeling and maintenance projects using Job Order Contracting (JOC) and Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) methodologies, PULSAR Estimating Software is also increasingly being used by facilities managers in educational and other public institutions.

PULSAR Estimating Software is available for public or private sector use, is GSA approved, and is available for use in Windows® 95/98/200 NT and XP operating systems. It includes R.S. Means materials and labor cost data for accurate, up-to-date cost estimates.

Further information on PULSAR Estimating Software can be obtained by writing to: PULSAR Estimating Software, P.O. Box 1301, Forestdale, MA 02644, calling 1-800-967-8572, or visiting www.estimatingsystems.com.
