Suited for use with 5.5-6.5 hp commercial equipment, CP550 and CP650 single-cylinder engines have compact Overhead Valve design, dual ball bearing crankshaft, and Dura-Bore cast iron cylinder sleeve. One-start carburetor enables one-pull starts and promotes smooth operation. Along with fuel shut-off valve and Lo-Tone muffler, engines incorporate high-mount oil-fill, low-oil sensor, and panel-style air filter with pre-cleaner and debris-ejection slots.

New engines offer performance, durability and value for commercial equipment power
MILWAUKEE, WI - Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power today announced the launch of its performance commercial CP550 and CP650 engines. The new CP Series engines represent a robust power solution for a wide variety of small commercial equipment in the 5.5- to 6.5-horsepower range.
