Inforce Computing Launches Snapdragon(TM) S4 Pro Based Modular Embedded Platform SYS6440



Development Platform to Utilize Qualcomm Technologies' Snapdragon(TM) S4 Pro APQ8064 Processor with Support Programs For Embedded Developers



FREMONT, Calif. -- Inforce Computing, innovative supplier of embedded processor modules and single-board computers, today announced the launch of the SYS6440 development kit, which runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon(TM) S4 Pro APQ8064 processor from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM).  Ideal for quickly developing media rich applications, the SYS6440 development kit is available off-the-shelf from Inforce, and is supported by real-time OEM development support plans.



Based on the Qseven(TM) System on Module (SOM) IFC6400, available from Inforce, the SYS6440 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of on-board IOs and peripherals including a 4-inch MIPI-DSI LCD multi-touch display, MIPI-CSI 20MP Omnivision® Camera and sensors, and is available with Android and Embedded Linux operating system support packages.
