Dust Collector targets high pressure/vacuum applictaions.
March 12, 2010 -
Gold Series® High Vacuum (GSHV) dust collector controls emissions in applications up to 17 in. Hg vacuum or 8 psi positive pressure. It is available with either 2 or 4 Gold Cone(TM) HemiPleat® filter cartridges, in 2 efficiencies: 99.99% (MERV 11) or 99.999% (MERV 15/16) on 0.5 micron particles. Cyclonic tangential inlet knocks out most dust as it enters collector, minimizing dust contact with filters, prolonging filter life. Pulse-cleaning system in system is regulated by solid state control panel.

New Heavy Duty Dust Collector Meets High Pressure, High Vacuum Challenges
JONESBORO, Ark. - Camfil Farr Air Pollution Control has introduced a new Gold Series® High Vacuum (GSHV) dust collector that controls emissions in applications up to 17 inches Hg vacuum or 8 psi positive pressure. It combines the proven features of the company's Gold Series collectors - rugged construction, high efficiency cartridge filtration and ease of service - into a heavily reinforced dust capture vessel designed for use as a central vacuum system, positive or negative product receiver or high pressure bin vent in a full range of industries and processes.
The GSHV collector comes with a choice of two or four Gold Cone(TM) HemiPleat® filter cartridges, available in two efficiencies: 99.99 percent (MERV 11) or 99.999 percent (MERV 15/16) on 0.5 micron particles. A cyclonic tangential inlet knocks out most of the dust as it enters the collector, minimizing dust contact with the filters for prolonged service life. The unit can be configured as a stand-alone dust collector or can be used for bin vent applications without the hopper and support structure. It also has a pulse-cleaning system regulated by a user-friendly solid state control panel.
Optional features include a horizontal explosion vent for combustible dust applications, a bag-in/bag-out (BIBO) access door and continuous liner discharge for pharmaceutical or hazardous dusts, and a 55-gallon drum or self-dumping hopper for collection of discharged dust.
