Two New Drum Lifter/Dispensers from Jet Secure Loads for Transport
ELGIN, ILL. - Even an 800-lb. gorilla is no match for the new JET® Geared Drum Lifter/Dispenser and JET Manual Drum Lifter/Dispenser. These new
lifter/dispensers hold drums safely and securely, and are ideal for low-level pouring
and dumping operations.
The manual and geared models feature an 800 lb. capacity and are equipped
with a hardened steel chain and lever assembly to quickly attach and release 55-gallon closed-steel drums.
The manual model features a positive tilt lock on the drum saddle to hold the
drum upright. The tilt lock feature also can be engaged in the horizontal position to
facilitate pouring. When the tilt lock is released, the drum can be rotated 360 in
either direction.
The geared model has a low-effort chain control, which allows the operator to
tilt the heavy drum using mechanical force instead of manually tilting it by hand for
unhampered use at any height.
When securing drums, all the operator needs to do is close the latch and attach the safety chain.
The frame and drum sleeves of both lifter/dispensers are OSHA approved and constructed of heavy-duty powder-coated steel with sure-grip handles to lock-in drum loads.
