Düsseldorf, - SEALPAC, the leading supplier of tray-sealing and thermoforming technology, creates new dimensions in flexibility and efficiency. The packaging expert uses the stage at Interpack 2011 to introduce its unique double format tooling, which will accelerate modern packaging processes by considerably reducing changeover times.
Two formats, one operation
With SEALPAC DUO, the company allows its customers to seal two different packs in one operation with just a single tooling. What makes the concept unique, is that it will seal two different packs in different heights and shapes at the same time. In addition, the SEALPAC DUO concept increases flexibility by providing the possibility of separate use. By means of a handle, each tooling can be activated or deactivated, so that the two formats may be produced simultaneously or one after the other.
Multiple applications
SEALPAC DUO can be applied on all of SEALPAC's A-series traysealers. It is perfectly tuned to products consisting of two components, which need to be sealed individually. As an example, a round tray and corresponding lid can be filled with different products, after which they are both sealed with a top film. SEALPAC's InsideCut system, which ensures that the film is neatly cut on the inside of the tray, allows for a perfect fit of the combined parts after sealing.
This makes SEALPAC DUO exceptionally suitable for multi-component packs, such as ready meals or snacks. By minimizing the changeover times, increasing flexibility and offering product versatility, SEALPAC's innovative DUO tooling will boost the efficiency in your packaging process even more.
