Larger Capacity Double Blade Mitre Saw for Larger Moldings Introduced By Pam Fastening Technology

CHARLOTTE, N.C. --- A double blade miter saw that provides low to medium volume frame shops with the flexibility to also accommodate larger moldings up to 7 in. wide and up to 3.25 in. deep is now available from PAM Fastening Technology.

The Brevetti PRISMA MAXI from PAM Fastening has a unique horizontal cutting stroke and other design details that reduce blade vibration for a smoother, more consistent miter and precise, quality cut. All types of wood and aluminum covered frame material can be mitered and cut with very little set up time and minimum maintenance.

The unit's fully enclosed design enhances safety by keeping the operator's hands a safe distance from the saw blades. The design also serves to decrease noise level and sawdust for a safe work environment.

"Besides frame shops, this unit can also be used by larger woodworking and cabinet shops that have need for cutting molding accurately," noted P.V. Archer, Marketing Manager for PAM Fastening Technology. "The PRIMSA MAXI compliments our smaller capacity Bevitti PRISMA CE that is ideal for cutting smaller sized moldings."

Features of the PRISMA MAXI include a right and left 52.5 in. molding support arm with attached measure marks for precision cutting and a right sliding stop mechanism for accurate, repeatable and equal length cuts. Two mechanical clamps hold down the molding during cutting to assure smooth accurate cuts and to reduce waste. Standard with the unit are 80 tooth 275mm saw blades with a 32mm bore. 100 tooth saw blades are optional.

Technical Specifications
The PRISMA Maxi is rated at 200 cuts per hour. It features two 1- l/2 hp single-phase motors at 3,200 RPM. Standard electrical requirements are 220V-60Hz, 1 Phase. Dimensions of the unit are 48 in. wide x 27 9/16 in. long and 44 1/6 in. high. The unit weighs 363 lbs and is listed at $8,750.

Brevetti Maxi

Mr. Walk;

I cannot attach information to this reply. If you will email me at parcher@pamfast.com, i will respond to your request for both pricing and information on the Maxi. But briefly, the Maxi is the quietest, highest quality double miter say on the market today. Therefore it is well suited to the frame shop that wishes to deliver consistent, highest quality frames to its customers.
