EntropySoft Appliance Enables Document Sharing in-the-Cloud

Paris - EntropySoft, a specialist of content integration, is releasing an appliance that enables document sharing in-the-cloud. The appliance manages document transfers between on-premises and cloud repositories. Organizations of all sizes can easily share documents with partners and customers in cloud repositories. This appliance is available on a pay-as-you-go basis.

EntropySoft's appliance includes the whole product stack of EntropySoft:

- 36 read / write connectors to connect the appliance to the main content-centric applications existing in the enterprise,

- Content Hub that acts as a single access point to all connected content silos. In-house applications can access Content Hub with a web-services API. Content Hub is also compliant with the latest interoperability standard, CMIS.

- Content ETL to manage all transfers to and from on-premises or cloud repositories. Documents with metadata and permissions can be taken from any content repository and transferred to any other content repository, whether on-premises or in the cloud.

EntropySoft designed the appliance to host different document services: the first service to be included is content sharing. Additional services will be gradually added to the appliance.

"As SaaS continues to grow, many customers using hosted applications ask the SaaS application vendors to provide integration and connectivity capabilities. This is highlighted by analysts and large customers. The EntropySoft appliance is the enabler for this integration," said Nicolas Maquaire, EntropySoft CEO. "Thanks to its innovative solution, EntropySoft is comforting its position as one of the leaders of unstructured data integration. We are the first company offering the service to transfer documents between cloud repositories and on-premises repositories.

The EntropySoft Appliance is a disruptive innovation. EntropySoft is offering to the market a new approach of Content Integration: Content Integration as a Service (CIaaS). The appliance is the link between all content management systems, be they on-premises or in-the-cloud.

In a few clicks, all major ECM Systems can be connected to EntropySoft's appliance: Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum Content Server, IBM FileNet P8, Interwoven TeamSite, Alfresco and more. After connecting the repositories, a Content ETL 'bridge' is deployed to manage the transfers with full traceability.

EntropySoft: sharing your content in the cloud - simply.
