EtherDAS(TM) Delivers -153dBc Performance in Every Cellular Band Between 700 MHz and 2.7 GHz
SAN DIEGO, -- Ethertronics, a leading technology company enabling innovative antenna and RF system solutions to deliver the best connected experience, today launched a line of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) products. EtherDAS Indoor(TM) is the world's first DAS solution to achieve passive intermodulation (PIM) performance of -153dBc in all 2G, 3G and 4G bands.
Mobile operators are increasingly setting stringent PIM requirements for DAS to minimize interference, which undermines data, video and voice performance and saps network capacity. A low PIM figure indicates that a DAS system can provide noticeably superior performance and faster throughput on both the uplink and downlink.
EtherDAS Indoor is designed for indoor deployments such as offices, arenas, airports and convention centers. Mobile operators are increasingly focusing on improving in-building coverage and capacity - particularly for LTE - to attract and retain customers, including high-value business users. EtherDAS also is an ideal way for operators to accommodate trends such as the dramatic increase in photos and videos that consumers upload to social networking sites.
Ethertronics' EtherDAS line initially features two omni-directional products: one with a 525 mm pigtail connector and one with an N connector, providing installation flexibility. Both products feature a compact design and neutral color so they blend in with their surroundings.
