Divided into eight 8-bit ports and eight 4-bit ports, CYDIO 96HE features on-board pull-up/pull-down resistor networks for each port. Digital outputs can source 15 mA or sink 64 mA, so additional buffering is not needed to drive external devices. Seamless Upgrade to PCIe Multichannel DIO
The new CyberResearch(r) CYDIO 96HE is a high-density high-drive logic-level digital I/O board that takes advantage of the PCIe (PCI Express) bus. Digital outputs on this 96-channel board can source 15 mA or sink 64 mA, so additional buffering is usually not needed to drive external devices.
Because the PCIe bus is electronically identical to the PCI bus, the CYDIO 96HE digital I/O board from CyberResearch, Inc. comes with and uses exactly the same software as the more traditional PCI-bus CYDIO 96HP board. Both boards come with the Universal Library, Universal Library for LabVIEW(r), and other utilities for installation, calibration, and testing.
The CYDIO 96HE is divided into eight 8-bit and eight 4-bit ports. A handy feature of the board is that it includes on-board pull-up/pull-down resistor networks for each port. The default configuration is pull-up, but you can program for pull-down on a port-by-port basis. These fully programmable networks end the need for fussy installations of SIP (single in-line package) resistors.
