Unit can automatically and repetitively sweep frequency of output waveform between 2 operator-determined limits. Instrument features variable DC offset control, LIN/LOG sweep mode, and GCV output for synchronization, as well as external VCF function and built-in 6-digit counter with INT/EXT function up to 100 MHz.

Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has launched its digital function generator which is a powerful tool used to generate electrical waveforms. It can be used in such applications as audio response testing, vibration testing, servo system evaluation and ultra sound applications.
This professional digital function generator, model 8219A, operates at a frequency range of 0.3 Hz to 3 MHz or 0.5 Hz to 5 MHz. It contains an attenuator, offers various means of output waveform modulation and has the ability to automatically and repetitively sweep the frequency of the output waveform between two operator-determined limits. The function generator features variable DC offset control, high resolution, INT/EXT AM/FM modulation, LIN/LOG sweep mode and GCV output for synchronization. The digital function generator offers adjustable sweep time and sweep rate both in LIN and LOG modes. It has an external voltage controlled frequency (VCF) function; duty cycle control with signal inversion capacity, two-step and variable attenuator and a built-in 6 digit counter with INT/EXT function up to 100 MHz. The digital function generator generates Sine, Triangle, Square, Ramp, TTL and COMS output waveforms.
