Digital Color Line Guide

The AccuBeam® II utilizes a combination of optoelectronic technologies to recognize and guide solid and intermittent color lines, edges and print patterns throughout the entire color spectrum.

(Madison, Wis.) The AccuBeam® II digital color line guide sensor uses four ultra-high intensity LED light sources s to recognize and guide any printed line or pattern regardless of its color or surrounding graphics. The sensor utilizes red, green, blue or infrared light to optimize color recognition. To compensate for the different reflective qualities of matte, glossy or holographic webs, the AccuBeam II provides three projection ports, allowing operators to select the port that best optimizes the light incident angle. Operators can see the reflected line, edge or pattern characteristics by monitoring the sensor’s high-resolution backlit display. A 20 MHz microprocessor performs frame-by-frame analysis of captured images to optimum scanning accuracy. Up to 25 different setting can be stored in non-volatile memory and easily recalled using the 3-button membrane switch pad. Remarkably small sized (approx 3x3x2 inches), this compact line guide sensor is fully compatible with AccuWeb’s Micro 1000™ and Micro 4000NET™ web guide controllers.
