Featuring one-finger locking mechanism, Single-Panel-Thickness RDD Lockit(TM) fills electrical cord openings and provides strain relief against wire twisting and pulling for thin-walled furniture-mounted task-lighting units and other electrical products. Bushings, molded of high-impact polyamide nylon, conform to ASTM standard D-4066-PA111, have flammability classification of 94V-2, and withstand temperatures to 105°C.

Axcell Division of Heyco Develops Custom Modified Single-Panel-Thickness Version of RDD Lockit(TM)
Toms River, New Jersey, 2006 - Heyco Products, Inc. created the term "Lockit(TM)" decades ago, as product specifier or installer shorthand for the innovative line of self-locking strain-relief bushings for wide-ranging electrical wire and cable applications.
Now the Axcell division of Heyco has custom modified this popular industry product by adapting the RDD Lockit to mount into a specific and unique panel thickness for a major lighting manufacturer.

Product Applications: The Single-Panel-Thickness RDD Lockit is modified to fill electrical cord openings, and provide strain relief against wire twisting and pulling, for thin-walled furniture-mounted task-lighting units and other electrical products with a specific very thin wall. Similarly, the RDD Lockit can be customized to other non-standard panel thicknesses.
Product Description: Single-Panel-Thickness RDD Lockit represents an innovative modification of the Heyco Round Double D Lockit double-duty strain-relief bushing for round current-carrying wires.
The Single-Panel-Thickness RDD Lockit allows a manufacturer of furniture-integrated task-lighting units to achieve the same dependable wire handling and strain-relief protection as Heyco's RDD Lockit, in thin-panel applications. Axcell developed a simplified, "one-finger" locking mechanism that allows the Single-Panel-Thickness RDD Lockit design to suit a unique single-panel thicknesses.
Construction & Finishes: Single-Panel-Thickness RDD Lockit is molded in Heyco's own state-of-the-art U.S. plant of high-impact polyamide nylon. Bushings conform to ASTM standard D-4066-PA111, have a flammability classification of 94V-2, withstand temperatures up to 105°C, are UL listed and CSA certified. Standard Heyco colors are matte-finish black or white, but custom colors are also available.
