Rated at 2 W, surface mount SLN2 Series provides resistance range of 5-10 mW with resistance tolerance of +0.5, +1, and +5%. Measuring 0.459 x 0.276 x 0.094 in., units are manufactured with flameproof UL94V0 molded polymer case and are suitable for flow, reflow, and hand soldering. Typical applications include dc-to-dc conversion, power supplies, laptop and mobile PCs, motor controls, and automotive engineering management systems.

New SLN2 Ultra-Low Resistance, +75ppm/°C Current Sense Resistor
Bradford, PA - August 25, 2006 - KOA Speer Electronics introduces the SLN2 surface mount molded current sense resistor with an available ultra-low resistance value of 5mW. SLN2 resistors provide high accuracy with + 0.5% tolerance, a +75ppm/°C T.C.R. and a 2-Watt power rating. These resistors provide excellent dimension accuracy, mountability and shock resistance and are available in RoHS/lead free compliant versions.
KOA's SLN2 current sense resistors have a resistance range of 5mW to 110mW with a resistance tolerance of +0.5%, +1% and +5%. Dimensions for these resistors are 0.459"L x 0.276"W x 0.094"T. They are manufactured with a flameproof UL94V0 molded polymer case, and suitable for flow, reflow, and hand soldering. Typical lead times range from 12 weeks, 1,000 pieces per reel with small quantity pricing at $0.525 each.
Typical applications for SLN2 resistors include DC to DC conversion, power supplies, laptop and mobile PC's, motor controls and automotive engineering management systems.
