Mason Custom Tooling Boxes, available in sizes from 1 7/8 in.² x 9/16 in. and up, can incorporate foam or egg-crate style interior cushioning to protect precision tools and components during shipping and storage. Per Federal Spec PPP-B-676-d, rigid cardboard construction provides burst strength of 150 lb/in.², and dual wire tabs promote secure closure. Stackable, rigid boxes can be modified with reinforced cardboard, nylon reinforced taping, and oil resistance.

Custom Tooling Boxes Crush-Resistant and Reusable
Custom designed shipping and storage boxes that can be manufactured with various types of cushioning to protect precision tools and components are being introduced by Mason Box Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
Mason Custom Tooling Boxes are constructed using a rigid cardboard that provides a burst strength of 150 lbs./in2 per Federal Spec. PPP-B-676-d and can incorporate foam or egg-crate style interior cushioning. Ideal for all types of precision tooling, they feature two wire tabs which protrude from the bottom half, fit through the top and fold over for a secure closure.
Stronger than folding boxes and mailing envelopes, Mason Custom Tooling Boxes can be modified with reinforced rigid cardboard, nylon reinforced taping, oil-resistance, and the wire tabs can be taped over to create a tamper-evident mailer. Reusable and stackable, these rigid boxes can be supplied in colors and printed inside and out to match OEM requirements.
