Ondrives Commercial Crossed Axis Helical Gears

Ever expanding power transmission specialist Ondrives Ltd, have recently added a range of commercial crossed axis helical gears to their gear product range, suitable for everyday use.

Unlike parallel helical gears, the crossed axis helical versions work together with the same hand and right hand is the standard version available from the new 528 page gear product catalogue. Left hand helix gears are however available, just add -L to the end of the part number (see catalogue for details). Both bossed and plain versions are standard with 214M15 steel and white delrin made to Quality Grade 9 ISO 1328. Sizes start at 0.5 Mod and increase to 3.0 with numbers of teeth differing depending on the Mod size selected. Different numbers of teeth are available on request to those specified in the catalogue with other materials, bores, keyways, tapped and pin holes all available on request.

Complete specials, as always, are also available on request - Ondrives welcomes the opportunity to quote for your custom gear requirements whether it's for a one off prototype, small batch quantities or large production runs.

This commercial crossed axis helical gear range is also available in a precision version made to a different DIN standard and varying methods of cutting, profiling and hardening done amongst other processes to ensure a top quality product is produced alongside a more commercial, everyday product.
