November 25, 2009 - Automatic cross wire welder compliments AFM 2Dx machine, which produces wire frames that get butt-welded and then transferred into frame hopper of T-Welder system. Separate wire feeding module straightens, feeds, and cuts individual wire pieces, which are automatically cross welded into frames positioned by frame carriage. All dimensions are programmable, and production is controlled by multi-axis/multi-tasking servo controller. System produces up to 600-700 T-Welded frames/hr.

New Cross Wire Welder from AIM, Inc


A new T-Welder system module was just released from AIM, Inc. A fully automatic T-Welder or "Cross Wire Welder" is successfully installed and tested at a customer's site for the past 6 months producing air filter cross welded frames used for filter, refrigerator, shelving, store fixture, display, oven or grill frames to name a few.

The T-welder complements our standard AFM 2Dx machines with a Butt-welder and a servo transfer. The AFM 2Dx machine automatically produces wire frames which get butt-welded and then transferred into the frame hopper of the T-Welder system. A separate wire feeding module, straightens, feeds and cuts individual wire pieces that are automatically cross welded into the frames positioned automatically by a frame carriage.

All dimensions are programmable and production is controlled by a multi axes/multitasking servo controller allowing the system to produce up to 600-700 T-Welded frames per hour. Three phase, DC mid frequency welding controls provide the most efficient electric load and the best welding accuracy available.

The T-Welding System is available as stand alone or as a compliment to our welded frame production machines for a total self controlling automated cross wire welded frames production cell.

Two different models are available, covering up to 1m x 1.9m (39"x 48") frames with up to 10mm wire diameter. More information and a video of the product are available at http://www.aimmachines.com/twelder.htm.
