May 16, 2005 - Electronic Porta-Weigh Plus MSI-4300 includes 6-digit, 1.6 in. high, alphanumeric LCD with LED backlighting and sealed lead acid battery that provides up to 300 hours of operation between charges. Available in 9 standard capacities from 500–100,000 lb, scale includes digital calibration and self-diagnostic circuitry. It is available with infrared remote controller, RS-232 and relay output options, and alkaline battery power or universal direct power supply.

New Porta-Weigh Plus Standard Construction

Driven by end-user feedback and request, Measurement Systems International is pleased to announce that it has updated the standard construction of its award winning MSI-4300 Porta-Weigh Plus Electronic Crane Scale. The new standard construction of the MSI-4300 features a rechargeable 12 Volt, Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery and LED backlight display!

Recognized as the world's premier crane scale, the Porta-Weigh Plus is renowned for safety and dependability in industrial applications. The 12 Volt, SLA battery provides up to 300 hours of operation between charges and the large, six digit, 1.6 inch (40mm) high alphanumeric liquid crystal display with LED backlighting is easily read from a distance. Digital calibration and self-diagnostic circuitry provide simple and cost-effective maintenance.

The MSI-4300 is available in 9 standard capacities ranging from 500 lb to 100,000 lb. A host of standard features and options are available, including NTEP approved versions, an infrared full-function remote controller, alkaline battery power or a universal direct power supply, oversized top / bottom fittings and low headroom adapters. RS-232 and relay output options are available for connection with computers, printers and process controllers.
