MSI-9300 Porta-Weigh Plus, RF Digital Crane Scale
Measurement Systems International is pleased to announce another new addition to the CellScale product family with the introduction of the MSI-9300 Porta-Weigh Plus, RF Digital Crane Scale. The portable scale merges CellScale technology with MSI's advanced crane scale architecture to provide both local and remote display capability. Combined with CellScale accessory products, the MSI-9300 is an advanced data-gathering network suitable for process control, safety management and weight related data collection.
The MSI-9300 circuitry is fully shock mounted and water proof making a rugged and reliable overhead scale for use indoors and outdoors. Large 30mm (1.2 in) ultra bright LED digits are readable at distances up to 15m (50 ft). The display brightness automatically adjusts to ambient lighting conditions for optimum viewing and battery conservation. With an internal temperature-monitoring feature, an optional heat shield and set point control, the MSI-9300 is ideally suited for use in Foundry and Mill applications or Crane use around high heat sources.
Single or multiple crane scales can be monitored and controlled from single or multiple locations. Wireless transmission of real time weight and product information can be networked and communicated to CellScale family indicators and modems at distances up to 300m (1000 ft) outdoors. The range increases further if Long Range Antennas are used on the receiving components. Both handheld (MSI-9750) and fixed (MSI-3750CS) indicators are available as well as modems (MSI-9020) for direct connection to computers and scoreboards.
The MSI-9300 Porta-Weigh Plus is available in a range of standard capacities up to 50 tons. Larger and special order designs are available up to 500 tons. A host of standard features and options are available, including a Retrofit Kit for those wanting to upgrade existing MSI-4300 Porta-Weigh Plus crane scales to MSI-9300 RF units.
