DatumPoint Adds Inserted Carbide Counter-Sinking Tool
TROY, MICHIGAN - Datum Point Tool, Inc. of Troy, Mich., added a new carbide inserted 82º included angle countersinking tool to its innovative line of cutting tools. The holder - which measures 4 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter - accepts a single 1-inch wide insert with two flutes. The insert will countersink any hole from 3/16" diameter up to 1" diameter.
Holders and inserts are readily available from stock. Inserts can be ordered with or without TiALN coating.
