Remke Expands Wire Management Product Line
Remke Industries has expanded its standard line of Tuff-Seal wire management products and the variety of custom options available for them. With this product line expansion Remke now offers one of the most comprehensive lines of cord grips in the electrical industry.
Product families within the Tuff-Seal line of wire management products include strain relief cord connectors, liquid tight connectors and watertight conduit hubs. Customers can choose between six different standard materials of construction for connectors in these families: diecast zinc for residential and commercial applications; aluminum for general industrial facilities; nylon for environments with high moisture content; steel for added durability in tough environments; valox for use in washdowns; and stainless steel which is ideally suited for severely corrosive environments. Remke also offers its customers a choice of either NPT, Pg or ISO Metric threads on every cord connector.
The Remke family of wire management products includes a complete line of wire mesh attachments that provide added protection against cable pull-out while reducing arc of bend for longer service life. The Tuff-Seal line of wire mesh includes standard support grips, I-grips, wide range strain relief grips, bus drop grips and bus drop safety springs.
Another recent addition to the wire management product family is the Dome-Cap Connector, a liquid-tight strain relief connector that fits a wide range of cord diameters. These connectors are available in aluminum or nylon and numerous sizes.
Known for their ability to customize just about any product they manufacture, Remke Industries offers both standard and special custom options for their wire management products. Standard options for customized cord grips include multiple hole bushings, tapered or straight threads, four different types of grommet materials, locknuts and O-Rings, slit bushings, and fittings to accommodate either round or flat cable. In addition, Remke also offers a variety of special options for customized cord connectors including: three different types of plating materials (electroless nickel, chrome and hard-coat anodizing); two different materials of construction (nickel-plated brass and a machineable non-metallic); and unique thread lengths.
