Conveyor optimizes dry slag cooling.
May 22, 2009 -
Able to eliminate popcorn slag, pans, and apron conveyors, GK dry slag system is available in custom widths and lengths to fit unique process and space requirements. Slag is conveyed and transformed into pancake slag on cooling deck conveyor and can immediately be containerized or discharged to quench tank. Proprietary cooling trough technology consistently maintains product temperature, and resulting granular material can be used for aggregate in other industries.
