Complete, Visible Validation Continuous Band Sealer for Medical Pouches
All Packaging Machinery Corp., Ronkonkoma, NY, now manufactures a completely validatable continuous dual heat USDA approved band sealer, model VBS-DH-3/8-10-V, for difficult to seal materials. Now temperature, speed, sealing, and cooling bar pressure can be validated. The extra sealing capacity allows speeds of up to 60 fpm. This machine is highly recommended for the sealing of Medical Devices in pouches.
With the new model VBS-DH-3/8-10-V, Pressure Validation is achieved through the use of self-contained compressed air; no external air is required. Easy and quick changeover and cleaning of the Teflon bands is possible due to the instant pressure release on bands placed in an open position. Uniform pressure on all sealing and cooling surfaces creates consistent quality validatable seals. These constant, secure seals are available in both ¼" and 3/8" wide. Gauges are easy to read and highly visible. Single line embossing coder for product marking is available.
Quad digital temperature controls maintain consistent heat and assures quality hermetic seals, with temperatures reaching up to 500°F +/-2°. Heat is generated from rear and front heaters or one set only as required using a simple on/off switch. Individual heating assemblies can be regulated because of quad controls. The unit is equipped with a 10" long heating zone and 10" long cooling zone.
Seals are achieved through the use of special heavy duty wear-resistant laminated Teflon bands.
The VBS-DH-3/8-10-V is designed to seal Tyvek/Mylar, Nylon, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Laminates, Kraft/PE and Foil. Tyvek® pouches can be sealed at speeds of 40 fpm.
The unit is mounted on a heavy duty floor model adjustable stand with crank handle height adjustment of the sealing head. Models are available in a vertical or horizontal sealing position.
In addition, the unit can be positioned over an existing lower carry conveyor.
Stainless steel chassis and anodized aluminum assures longevity of use. Chrome plated sealing assemblies reduce wear and increase machines' lifespan.
