The D-Series(TM): Complete Disposable, Recyclable, Contingency Caging Solution

Allentown is proud to introduce the complete D-Series system - a disposable, environmentally-sound, contingency housing solution that provides the complete performance and reliability you've come to expect from Allentown's re-usable caging, but at literally a fraction of the cost.

Researchers all over the world face situations where their satellite facilities have limited washing capabilities, or in which they need to stock contingency caging in case of an emergency. They demand a solution that won't require them to gamble on newly-marketed caging with no substantial track record in the laboratory animal science industry. Nor do they want to lock themselves into a system that may not suit them forever, and offers no possibility for upgrade or change. Enter the D-Series - a disposable, dependable, and upgradeable caging system from the leader in animal housing solutions.

Reliability D-Series injection-molded caging has been extensively tested for durability and reliability and - to date - has seen zero occurrences of animals chewing through, and escaping from, the cage.

Safety The D-Series system is 100% safe for your animals, with pre-irradiated components and all metal parts made from non-toxic stainless steel in accordance with the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.

Auto Watering Unlike other disposable caging providers, the D-Series caging system can easily and affordably be used with your existing, automatic watering system.
Air Flow The D-Series caging system utilizes Allentown's trusted method of air delivery at the cage level.

Flexibility Because the D-Series cage was designed to work in your existing Allentown racks, the complete system is easily upgradeable to our long-term reusable caging.
